Dr. Brian Drabik of Cadillac Urology Practice is now a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (FACOS). He formally received his title in November 2009 during ceremonial festivities at the Annual Clinical Assembly of Osteopathic Specialists in Chicago.

The FACOS designation is an honor recognizing Dr. Drabik’s

  • commitment to the practice of surgery through participation in teaching programs and on hospital, local, state and national surgical society committees
  • continued pursuit of knowledge through participation in continuing surgical education programs, and
  • adherence to the professional and ethical standards as established by the profession and as interpreted by the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons.

Brian joined the Cadillac Urology staff in November, 2000. He received his BS in Biology from Oakland University in 1990 and graduated from medical school at Michigan State University, receiving the Richard L. Alper Award for the class of 1994. Brian completed
his internship and surgical training at Flint Osteopathic Hospital in Flint and his urological residency at Bi-County Community Hospital in Warren, Michigan. He received the 2000 Resident Achievement Award from the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. While at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Brian served as Clinic Instructor for the Department of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties.

He is Board Certified and is currently a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Urological Association.
